The Lady Trojans ran in their first meet of the 2021 cross country season on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at the LaVern Gibson Cross Country Course in Terre Haute, Indiana. The course they ran on is the location of the IHSAA State Cross Country Meet. The Lady Trojans finished 1st as a team with 71 points. Bailey Ranta was the individual winner in 19:27. The rest of our top five include Catherine White who ran a 19:35 and finished 4th, Alyssa Dunlap who ran 20:31 and finished 18th, Ciara Bonner who ran a 20:41 and finished 22nd and Payton Leady in her 1st varsity race ran a personal record of 21:01 and finished 27th.Rounding out the 12 runners who competed were:
Bree Gentry – 21:21 – 41st place
Ali Sierazy – 21:36 – 48th place
Bella Smith – 21: 58 – 65th place
Grace Carpenter – 22:01 – 70th place
Addison Leady – 22:47 – 100th place
Anna Johnston – 23: 58 – 145th place
