Key Club: Spreading Positivity!

Kiwanis-based Key Club spreads positively around CHS!

The Chesterton High School Key Club does more than spread positivity, they help their local organizations within their community and make the world a better place. Key Club, a service-based club, is a high-end branch of the Kiwanis Club. The club volunteers locally and fundraises for donations from multiple places.

“We have done a lot of service projects this year. We made cards for hospitalized kids, made dog toys from old t-shirts to donate to a local animal shelter, and we have made blankets for children in need. We have volunteered at several places throughout the year as well including Free the Girls, and a few events that our local Kiwanis Club put on”, says CHS Key Club sponsor and math teacher, Danyelle Vivian.

Chesterton’s Key Club only helps communities around the Duneland area since they can’t always travel far from their area. If anyone wants to know more about this club, would be interested in membership, or has any general questions, feel free to contact Mrs. Vivian by email at [email protected], or go to her which is B551 upstairs west of the library windows.
