Indiana’s primary election is on Tuesday, May 3rd. This is a chance for members of the community to vote for the candidates of their choosing. The primary election is used to determine the candidates for the general elections. When casting their ballots, voters must first select the party for which they intend to vote, after which they will be able to select their candidates. If you are eligible to vote, go to the Porter County website, https://www.porterco.org/1322/2022-Primary-Election, to find out where you may vote. From 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., all polling sites are open. To be eligible to vote, you must also present your photo ID.
