On Thursday morning, CHS Red Cross Club will host its call out meeting. Any student who is interested in becoming CPR and First Aid certified, organizing blood drives, and more should come out to the meeting for Red Cross Club, to see if it is for you. 

Chesterton High School’s very first Red Cross Club is affiliated with the official Red Cross organization. There will be a call-out meeting on Thursday, August 18th at 7:10 AM in Mrs. Gingrich’s Room (A524). Club president, Saanya Agarwal, and Vice President, Matticyn Gropper, will make an official list of the club’s members. Snacks will also be provided.

During the first official meeting of the school year, club members will get to vote for their favorite candidates when deciding leadership roles. Possible positions include:

• Secretary (junior)
• Treasurer (junior)
• Public Relations Director
• Fundraising Officer
• Committee Leads (blood drive lead, disaster relief lead, etc.)

Meetings will be held every other Thursday. Some will be in the morning at 7 AM while others may be after school at 3 PM in Mrs. Gingrich’s room (A524). More club details will be released at the first official meeting, which is still to be determined.
