  Juniors, Seniors, are you interested in joining an organization that not only can make you feel great about yourself, but also looks fantastic on a college application?!  National Honors Society promotes leadership, service, character, and scholarship and demonstrates academic and service commitments. NHS has volunteer opportunities throughout the school year this could help fill bucket two if you haven’t already. If Juniors and seniors wish to sign up for the National Honors Society, please see Mr. Nallenweg, C584, for an application. The applications are due TODAY  and the meeting will be held in mid-March NHS meets once a month in the morning. NHS promotes leadership, service, character, and scholarship and demonstrates academic and service commitments. NHS looks very good on college applications and can make your application more attractive than other students’ applications.  There are more than one million students around the country in the NHS. NHS offers college admission and financial aid planning resources. Current Juniors and Seniors that have a GPA of at least a 3.4 and have demonstrated scholarship, character, and involvement during their years at CHS will have the chance to be in  NHS you will also need a teacher’s signature along with an extracurricular sponsor’s signature.
