Natalie Jones Commits To DAC All-Conference Team

Make Sure To Give A Congratulations To Natalie On Her Getting On The DAC Team!

Natalie Jones has had a great hard working attitude towards her gymnastics career this season. Due to her amazing skills and dedicated attitude towards her team, she was nominated to the DAC All-Conference Team!

 

TheAll-Conference Team is a collection of all of the gymnasts with the best record, such as scores from various competitions.Ten gymnasts from the Duneland Athletic Conference, mainly consisting of upperclassmen, and will be selected for the finalists. 

 

Jones has been a gymnast for a very long time, since she was a kid and has had numerous accomplishments. Some of those being, she made it out of sectionals for the first time as an individual, she got third at state her sophomore year, becoming the captain of her own team, as well as being undefeated on beam. 

 

Jones has worked incredibly hard for many years and her younger self would definitely look up to herself now.    

“I would be surprised that I’m still doing it. I’ve been doing it for fifteen years now, so I definitely wanted to finish it out, but I would be proud of myself because of all the accomplishments I’ve made,” says Jones.  

 

Jones has had an amazing experience working up her career by learning good sportsmanship and leadership skills. She continues to show her strengths in time management and shows her team to never give up. 

 

CHS offers a lot of great opportunities, especially for sports. Our gymnastics team is a great way to connect with new people and be a part of a awesome sport. 

“I would definitely try out if you’re interested, it’s a really good way to experience meeting new people from the school too,” says Jones. 

Not only can students join the team, but there is now a summer club where students can continue their passion for the sport in the summer months.
