The Duneland School Corporation has listed all kinds of camp opportunities and activities such as football, soccer, basketball, etc. Up first is Football Position Camps for Intermediate and Middle School students entering grades 5 – 6 – 7 – 8 in the Fall of 2023. Each camp is limited to the first 35 kids that sign up for that camp date. Football Skill Development Camps will mainly be focusing on specific position skills that will be needed to play such as Pop Warner or Middle School Football in the fall of 2023. Position Camps are being held at the Chesterton High School Football Stadium on the Turf. Session 1 (Defensive Back and Wide Receiver Skills Camp) will run Monday through Wednesday on June 19th – 21st from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. and Session 2 (Quarterback & Running Back Skills Camp or Offense & Defense Lineman & Linebacker Skills Camp) will run Monday through Wednesday on June 26th – 28th from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. Session 2 will run the two position groups simultaneously, but they will be separate on the field. The cost is $50 per session for 4.5 hours of instruction and checks are payable to the Chesterton Elite Football Camps.
Moving on to the Chesterton Soccer Summer Trojan Camp of 2023. Chesterton Soccer Summer Camp will be up and running the week of July 24th – 27th and the camp will be divided into three different age groups. The age groups, times, dates, location, and cost are as follows:

Students will be taught agility drills, individual skill development, tactical knowledge, small-sided progression, and full-sized games depending on what age group you’re in. The main goal is to put players in a positive atmosphere where they gain knowledge, become acquainted with the coaching staff, and above all, have fun.
Third on the list is Chesterton Summer Basketball Camp 2023. CHS is proud to announce the Basketball Summer Camp plans for this upcoming summer and looks forward to working towards building championships with our future players this year. There are three camps and three age groups which are K-1st, 2nd – 6th, and 7th – 8th. For K-1st and 7th-8th, each camper will get their own basketball, T-shirt, reversible jersey & instructions from the high school coaching staff and current high school players. Everyone in the 2nd-6th grade camp will be at the high school at one time and then split up between the fieldhouse and the main gym. Skill Development will be on Mondays and 3 on 3 games on Tuesdays. Campers in the 2nd-6th grade group will also receive a basketball, T-shirt, reversible jersey, and instructions from the high school coaching staff and current players.
Number four on the list is Chesterton Gymnastics Club. Classes for gymnastics are currently open to K-8 students and each class is one hour long and offered four days a week. Classes will provide age-level appropriate training on all four events and student-athletes are being coached by the CHS Gymnastics staff and high school gymnasts. Parents & students who are interested in gymnastics can also choose which days they’d prefer for classes such as Monday-Thursday nights from 5:00-6:00 PM or 6:00-7:00 PM.
