Are you interested in taking some time to relax and spend time with your friends? The Self Care Club is back at Chesterton High School for the second year in a row! Self Care Club is a program that allows students to spend time with each other and take a break from all the stress they may have. Last year, the club participated in many activities such as adult coloring books, journaling, and meditating. The club is open to anyone in any grade interested in self care, who just want time to relax.
“This club is a place for students to relax and take a breather,” Smith explained.
Most meetings will occur about once a month and will be held after school for 45-60 minutes. If you have any ideas for the meetings, be sure to bring them up at the callout meeting! The meeting will take place this Thursday after school in room C571, Mr. Smith’s room. If you have any questions feel free to email the president of Self Care Club, Carlie Fisher, at [email protected] or email Mr. Smith at [email protected].
