This was my first time putting ranch on my pizza. I was told by my mom (who hates ranch) that ranch on pizza ruins the pizza so I never tried it. I used some homemade pizza. A solid dependable thin crust pizza with cheddar cheese on the top. Then I tried two different types of ranch. I used your standard run of the mill ranch, and it tasted fine. One thing I noticed is that  the ranch cuts some of the grease in the piece of pizza. Next, I tried some cucumber ranch that I found at the back of the fridge .. The ranch was relatively good, a strong cucumber flavour with undertones of dill. I liked the ranch by itself but I am not sure it was the best fit for the pizza. 

Final  Judgement 

Ranch is a pretty solid pizza topping. It has a nice flavour. I personally found it pretty good but nothing special. However, I would not put ranch on a fancy pizza such as Potato Head from Rolling Stone Baker..  Ranch is for fast food pizza, like Little Caesars or Papa Johns. Ranch would also be really good for frozen meat lovers pizza.
