Winter is approaching quickly, and with that, colder and more extreme weather. If in any case there were a two-hour delay, then school would start at 9:40. Nevertheless, if the weather conditions were to escalate, the school day might be canceled. However, the school may dismiss students early instead.
A canceled day would result in an e-learning day, also known as a (unplanned) virtual-synchronous eLearning day, where students will attend Google Meets. The teachers will have schedules posted by 9:00 A.M.
In any case, the information will be released as early as possible and will be available through the radio at WAKE 1500 AM; Indiana 105.5 FM; WEFM 95.9 FM; WDSO 88.3 FM; WGN Radio 720; WBBM Newsradio 780, Local TV Channels: 2, 5, 7, 9, 32, or through websites such as www.cancellations.com; www.emergencyclosingcenter.com
For additional information on procedures please go to this link Procedures for Delaying/Closing Schools.
On any Elearning day, asynchronous (planned), or virtual synchronous, the student will have attendance to complete an assignment. Don’t forget that next Tuesday, November 7, we will have an asynchronous Elearning day.
