The CTE program is a program offered to high schools, and it is Career and Technical education, and it is a program that offers students the opportunity to prepare for college and for future careers. Chesterton High School offers a variety of programs for Juniors and Seniors. If Sophomores and Juniors are interested in taking classes in the CTE program for the 2024-2025 school year, the classes and preview days to take one of them have been posted on the Chesterton High School Believe and Achieve times.
The times for these preview days are December 7th at 6pm- January 25th at 6pm. The locations of these days are Porter County Career and Tech Center, Boone Grove High School, Ivy Tech Community College, Portage Township Schools, Hobart High school, MAAC Foundation (4203 Montadale Park Drive, Valparaiso), Self Building, Morgan TWP. High School, Wheeler High School, Hebron High School, Thomas Jefferson Middle School, and Vale building (653 Hayes Leonard Road, Valparaiso).
If you are interested in one of these classes you must be on time for the preview days for the scheduled visit day. Additionally, students must plan on attending for 30-60 minutes. For more information on the programs visit pccte.org.
