This year’s Chesterton High School cheer team will host its annual kids camp on January 8 and 9. The exciting experience will begin on Monday the eighth. Kids signing up will get to practice with the high school team. Participants will get the opportunity to watch and be a part of a high school practice to see what it’s all about. They will learn cheers and dances, taught by the high school cheerleaders and lifters.
“We are very excited and have prepared a very special routine to teach the kids!”, Senior Leader Tate Wilcox said.
Then, that next night they will have the opportunity to perform at a girl’s varsity basketball game alongside the varsity squad at halftime, showing off the content they learned at practice! The camp is open for both young cheerleaders and lifters K-6! Reservations for the camp cost $50 which includes a t-shirt, pom poms or megaphone, and a fantastic experience!
