The National Honors Society is an organization where students participate in activities that will help them develop leadership skills and character. NHS is a great opportunity to volunteer and help out the community. NHS experience also looks great on a college application and can make an application stand out more than others! NHS applications are open to juniors and seniors wishing to be considered for a membership. Students must have a minimum of a 3.40 GPA and have participated in various activities and services throughout their high school career to apply. These activities include, but are not limited to, sports teams, clubs, and job experiences. Applications for NHS can be found in Mr. Nallenwag’s room (C584) and must be completely filled out and turned in to him by Friday, February 9.
