At the start of each Summer, Duneland offers a summer school program for students to catch up on credits they missed or get ahead on credits and classes they will need to take in the future. In the past, students would attend summer school at their respective schools based on their grade level. Due to the construction of various schools across Chesterton this year, CHS will be the official host of summer school for all grade levels, kindergarten through 12th grade. There are two sessions to be held in June and July. Session one held in June will be for grades K-12 and session two in July will be held for students in grades 8-12 only. Along with the summer school options, a KinderCamp will be on each day of session one for incoming kindergarten students. All summer school students will have meals available for them, as well as some transportation options. Registration for summer school sessions must be completed as soon as possible and the links can be found below.
