Trick-or-treating is one of kids’ favorite parts of Halloween, along with dressing up. Now, they get to do it more than once. From 4-6 pm, on Friday, October 25, the Duneland Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a trick-or-treating event in downtown Chesterton. Local businesses on Broadway and Calumet, as well as vendors located in the Chamber’s parking lot and throughout Thomas Centennial Park, will be passing out candy to locals who attend. Some local businesses outside of the Thomas Park area will also be handing out candy and will have additional Halloween activities going on. Some of those businesses include: The Waxi Taxi, Chesterton Toys, Westchester Public Library, and White Hat Realty. This event is free to the public, so anyone can go. Be sure to save the date!
