The Sandscript, our student led newspaper at Chesterton High School, will be hosting a giveback night on Thursday, December 19th!

The fundraiser will take place at the 219 Taproom located at 109 S 3rd St in Chesterton and will last from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

At the 219 Taproom, a local brewery and restaurant, guests can expect to hear live music and be offered a wide variety of adult beverages and foods including flatbreads, sandwiches, sides and much more. Any community member who comes to support will have all of the tips they leave donated to the Sandscript. So whether you are coming to have a nice Jones Root Beer, or bringing the whole family for dinner, any tip you leave comes directly to the Sandscript.

All funds raised by The Sandscript on Thursday will be used to cover program expenses, field trips, in class activities, and much more! This means all you have to do to show your support is stop by the restaurant and be sure to leave a tip on your bill prior to leaving!
