Chesterton Show Choirs Perform Their Winter Showcase

The Drifters, Sandpipers, and their backup band, “The Business,” are well known throughout Chesterton for their strong show choir performances and track record of trophies. Their competition season will begin next weekend, but before that, they will perform at home, in the CHS auditorium. This Saturday, January 11, at 7 pm, the Drifters will perform their show, “Shattered” and the Sandpipers will perform, “Homecoming Spirit Week.” This event will also be a fundraiser to help pay the competition season expenses. You can purchase snacks and Good Luck Ducks for a performer of your choice. Tickets are $12 for adults, and $8 for students and seniors if purchased online; the link is below. Tickets can also be purchased at the door for $14 for adults and $10 for students and seniors. All seating is reserved. Make sure to wear your show choir spirit wear to give them a great sendoff into their competition season!

My name is Lucy, and this year I am a junior at CHS. This is my first year writing for the Sandscript. I am a member of the Trojan Guard Marching Band, and a member of the Chesterton High School Winter Guard. I am a three year member of the Creative Writers club. In my free time, I enjoy reading and writing.
