The year is almost over, and the last week of school is, for many, the most difficult: finals. But the schedule is finally out!

Friday, May 23rd: Block 1 and Block 3

Monday, May 26th: Memorial Day! No school. 

Tuesday, May 27th: Block 5 and Block 7

Wednesday, May 28th: Block 2 and Block 4

Thursday, May 29th: Block 8 and Block 6

Students will take lunch during their second final of the day. Their lunches may differ every day, depending on how long the class’s final is. The longer the final, the earlier the lunch. 

Students are also discouraged from leaving school early after their final exams are over. According to Mr. Martinson, only students called off for excused absences will be allowed to leave. 

“It will be communicated to parents that students will not be allowed to leave after a final exam unless they have a scheduled appointment that has been communicated to us ahead of time,” Martinson said. “If we hold our times for finals, then students will not have to leave at any point during the school day.”

The only time students will be allowed to leave is during 6th block on Thursday, as Mr. Martinson put it. 

“We will allow students to leave during 6th block on May 29 if students have communicated to us that they have a scheduled appointment,” he said.
