The Artistic Recovery will be holding the Hooked On Art Festival on September 18th in Thomas Centennial Park (109 Broadway, Chesterton, IN 46304) from 8:00am – 3:00pm. A chalk contest will be held for both adults and children, respectively. 

     Both competitions will be held at the same time. If you are interested in joining or know someone who is, registration forms are available online at https://320recovery.com/hooked-on-art-festival. Children ages 12 – 17 are able to register for $10. Adults ages 18 and up are able to register for $25. Participants will be given six hours to complete their art on a black base 4×4 chalk square as well as a white 4×4 chalk square (children), and black 6×6 chalk square in addition to a white 6×6 chalk square (adults). Prizes for children include $250 Blick Art Gift Certificate for either a school or an organization, $100 Team Cash Prize, or a trophy given to the artist or team. For the winners of the adult competition, first place will be awarded $1,000, second place $750, and third place $250.
