Upcoming PSAT

The PSAT, also known as Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test, will take place at Chesterton High School next Wednesday, October 13th, 2021.

Students will be given 2 hours and 45 minutes to complete the test which tests over several academic subjects like mathematics, English, and writing. Each section of the test should last anywhere from 35 to 60 minutes depending on the section.  For example, the writing and language section is given 35 minutes, while the reading section is given 60 minutes.

It is suggested that students study using their student resource study guides before the upcoming test.  Additionally, students can even go to PSAT Club on Tuesday or Thursday this week, in Mr. Pat Ward’s room, in order to help with the test and scoring.  Finally, as with any test, a good night’s sleep and a balanced breakfast can also go a long way in scoring well.  Good luck CHS!
