Moon Knight Trailer Review

Kooper Sutherland, Author

The newest Marvel show titled “Moon Knight” will be released on March 30, 2022. Moon Knight will star Oscar Isacc. Isacc is also known for his famous role of Poe Dameron in the Star Wars Trilogy. His character in “Moon Knight” is Steven Grant. This character’s backstory is fairly anonymous, but the trailer shows that he has a severe medical condition. This condition is a sleeping disorder that prevents him from seeing the difference between real life and dreams. It is important for fans to note that this will be Grant’s very first appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Steven Grant/Marc Spector/Moon Knight is a man who is constantly facing his mental demons. These demons are said to exist due to his sleeping disorder. They are noticeably chasing Grant everywhere he goes throughout the trailer. He then is seen being consumed by what can only be described as some sort of white colored suit. The properties of the suit is almost similar to how the Venom symbiote consumes its host. It also shares the shape of a medieval knight, and the appearance of an Egyptian assassin. Furthermore, the show is said to be based around Egyption Mythology. This spawns a rumor that the mysterious white suit will be based around the same theme. This is pretty much all that is known about the highly anticipated Marvel show, but what has been revealed definitely gives fans something to look forward to. Personally, Moon Knight will be a nice breath of fresh air for Marvel Fans, and will provide some new characters to be invested in.

“Moon Knight” was created by Jeremy Slater and is the sixth MCU show to be streamed on the Disney+ platform.  It is part of Marvel’s Phase 4, and stars Ethan Hawke and May Calawamy, in addition to Issac.  Directed by Mohamed Diab, Justin Benson, and Aaron Moorhead, “Moon Knight” will be released in six episodes, taking place from March 30 through May 4.
