Next Year’s Student Government Senate is Chosen

Each year, Student Government allows CHS students to apply for a position in the Senate. Once their application has been reviewed by multiple teachers, including Mrs. Bullock and Mr. Blumenthal, they must gain enough votes from other students in their graduating class. While numerous students apply each year, only four can be voted into the Senate. The fifth Senate member from each class is chosen by a committee of teachers and graduating Executive Board members to become their class liaison. These class liaisons lead the other Senate members in their grade.

After a whole week of voting at lunch, the 2022-2023 Student Government Senate for the Sophomore, Junior, and Senior classes has been finalized. The Freshmen class will be finalized during the early weeks of the next school year. Congratulations to the following students:
