On October 5, Chesterton High School will be holding a Career Fair that allows students to talk to professionals in the field they’re interested in pursuing. This event will take place in the cafeteria at CHS from 5 pm-7 pm and has a large variety of individuals and organizations coming. Some unions will be coming, such as the Electricians Union, Laborers Union, and the Seafarers Union. Local businesses, such as the Chesterton Police Dept and the National Parks Service, will also be there to recruit new upcoming graduating students. Local companies will be there, and four career colleges are also coming. The first is Tricoci University of Beauty, Cosmetology and Esthetics, Ivy Tech, Lincoln Tech, and College of Court Reporting. Military participants will also be present to connect with students who are interested in joining. The Army, Indiana National Guard, Navy, Marines, and Air Force will all be there to push people in the direction best suited for them.

If you’re interested in any of the opportunities provided at the Fair, then show up and look at the multitudes of choices given to you by regional businesses and organizations!
