This Friday, CHS Speech and Debate Team are hosting their annual Variety Show in the auditorium for all students and community members to come and watch. The Variety Show is one of the funniest nights of the year at CHS with multiple comedy skits and sketches that will have the audience rolling over laughing. Contestants are not only performing their skits, but are also competing to win. Not only is the Variety Show a fun entertaining event, but it also duels as a talent show too. Contestants will perform and then random audience members will be chosen to pick 3 contestants they liked the best. After that, they will decide on the winner, and the winner will win a cash prize.
The Variety Show will take place in the auditorium and will start at 7:30 but the doors will officially open at 7:00. The tickets cost ten dollars at the door but if students would like to preorder tickets beforehand then they can reach out to any member of the Speech and Debate team to get tickets that cost only five dollars.
“It’s very funny and we have a lot of entertaining acts and comedy sketches, everyone should go!” says a member of the Speech and Debate Team, Addie Botts.
