Ashley Drury, Sandscript Author

Are you not taking the SAT on March 1st and are interested in earning volunteer hours? On Wednesday, March 1st at 9 AM, the Duneland School Corporation will be doing an emergency reunification drill at Chesterton High School.

The drill will require the participating students to walk to the reunification point at CHS in the gymnasium. Then, these students’ parents / guardians will receive a call to drive to CHS in order to pick up their child. Parents must make sure to bring a photo identification card to prove that they are a students’ legal guardian. Once the parents are processed, they will be asked to drive their student home.

Any freshman, sophomore, and senior can partake in this drill. Students can earn volunteer hours for clubs, college applications, scholarships, and more. If you are interested in participating, fill out the permission slip in the link below and turn it in to the main office beforehand.
