Tenley Davis is a name we are all too familiar with here at CHS. Whether it be on the volleyball court or the basketball court, she’s equally as dominant on both. That said, Davis has just been named Indiana Basketball Coaches Association player of the week! This comes after Davis put on a show against Highland dropping 36 points and 7 boards on 56% shooting! She also had a monumental game on defense, with 5 steals and 1 block.
However, Highland wasn’t a fluke because Davis is currently averaging 25 points, 8.7 boards, and 3.3 steals per game through the Trojans’ first 3 games. Her 25 ppg puts her 9th in the state overall and 2nd among sophomores, only behind Faith Christian HS point guard, Maya Layton.
It’s obvious that Davis is going to be exciting this season so if you’re free, come out to support the Trojans throughout their season!
