Rebuilding Duneland Together is celebrating 27 years of restoration throughout the community! Their next rebuilding day is April 27. Their mission is to repair homes and public areas to make our community better.
If you’re looking to make a difference, Volunteers will meet at CHS in the cafeteria at 7:30 where they will be served breakfast and meet with their House Ambassador to go over the scope of work for that site. Some will be working at one of our local parks helping with mulching, weeding, painting, etc. while the others work to repair homes.
To be considered for assistance, the applicant must own their home, have homeowner insurance, and be current on property taxes. RTD will help anyone who is financially struggling and can meet this criteria. All volunteers must have a Volunteer Application on file in order to participate on Rebuilding Day. You can fill this out on their website rtduneland.org and they will be accepted until April 1. All volunteer work should be done by 4 pm. This is a great opportunity for CHS students looking to fill bucket 2 for graduation. If you have a few hours to help make Duneland a better place, consider choosing RTD!
