Football legend Tom Brady has recently announced his retirement from football after the 2022 season. He played for the New England Patriots from 2000 to 2019, then switched over to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for the past two seasons. He was widely considered to be the greatest quarterback in NFL history and has the accomplishments to back it up, winning seven Lombardi trophies (Super Bowl winning team), the most won by any single player. He also rewrote much of the NFL record book, with team and personal accomplishments, accumulating the most touchdown passes with 624, as the most passing yards, 84,250.

On his Instagram, Brady wrote a lengthy statement about the details of his retirement where he talked about the reasoning behind retiring and how enjoyable his career was. He also made a section of the paragraph about his teammates on the Buccaneers, 

“To my Bucs teammates the past two years, I love you guys, and I have loved going to battle with you. You have dug so deep to challenge yourself, and it inspired me to wake up every day and give you my best. I am always here for you guys and want to see you continue to push yourselves to be your best. I couldn’t be happier with what we accomplished together.”
