Audrey White, Sandscript Author

Due to a number of increased visitors of Indiana Dunes National Park, visitors without a federal land pass must pay a fee depending on the method of entry.

  • Motorcycles – $20
  • Walk-in/Bicycling/Boat-in – $15 (up to a maximum of $25/family)
  • One to seven-day vehicle pass – $25
  • Indiana Dunes National Park Pass – $45
  • Motor coach/Bus – up to a $100 commercial fee

The fees will account for visitor service improvements, maintenance, parking information upgrades. The fee is not associated with the state’s fee for entry to Indiana Dunes State Park- the fee solely concerns the national park.

Those who possess federal land passes are excused from the fee such as:

  • Annual passes
  • Veterans, Military, Gold Star family passes
  • Senior passes
  • Fourth-grade passes
  • Volunteer passes
  • Access passes (permanent disability)
