First we have Jurassic World, Dominan, Lightyear, Elvis, Minions Rise of Gru, and lastly Thor: Love and Thunder. 

   Let’s start off with Jurassic World Dominan so it’s similar to the series Jurassic World and Jurassic Park. The movie brings back both casts from each series trying to save the dinosaurs that survived the last park. Now there is a company who says that they are trying to “save” all of the dinosaurs but actually they are doing experiments. 

   Our second movie is Lightyear. The beloved Buzz is back and better and he is operating as a space ranger who, after being marooned on a hostile planet with his commander and crew, tries to find a way back home, while confronting a threat to the universe’s safety. 

     Our third movie is Elvis, this movie is a biographical musical that follows his life as rock and roll icon Elvis Presley, told from the perspective of his manager, Colonel Tom Parker.  

   Our fourth movie  is Minions: Rise of Gru, which is about the rise of the villain/super villain Gru. It starts out with 11 year-old Gru plots his track to supervillain status with help of his newfound henchman, The Minions. 

    The final movie is Thor: Love and Thunder. Thor embarks on a journey unlike anything he has ever faced, a quest for inner peace. However, retirement gets interrupted by Gorr the God Butcher, the galactic killer who seeks the extinction of the god. As Thor embarks on his journey he sees an old love who happens to wield his magical hammer. Thor enlists the help of king Valkyrie, Korg, and his ex-girlfriend.  

     That concludes The top 5 movies from the summer of 2022. This summer’s list is full of great movies. I would recommend Thor: Love and Thunder to any Marvel fan.
