We’re nearing the end of this school year–soon the seniors will leave, and a new generation of students will take their place. Before this transition, though, is a quickly approaching– and arguably one of the most important nights for incoming freshmen– 8th Grade Parent Night. An evening that is important for students, as well as the parents.
This event will start at 6:00 p.m. on April 2nd, 2026, in the CHS auditorium. This night is for both the parents and/or guardians to come and get to know CHS, as well as the incoming student, in order to get a feel for high school. This evening will showcase a sneak peek into the future of students’ high school careers. It will begin in the auditorium at 6 p.m. to hear administrators and counselors speak. Later, there will be a transition to go to the Goldsborough Gymnasium for an opportunity for students and parents to connect with clubs, academic information, college credit, sports, and additional information on high school.
Some clubs and organizations will be coming from different departments as well! This will allow prospective students to see if they are interested in a class and/or club that they never considered.
We hope you come and join us on April 2nd for this wonderful opportunity to get ready for high school! We wish you all the best!
