Meet Mathew Fanzo!

As the final year of high school is off to a start, senior Mathew Fonzo is making progress at Chesterton High School and has great plans for the year ahead. This student comes to school every day with a positive attitude and is looking forward to the moments he gets to share with friends. His top pick among all colors is bright red. This year, he plans to finish school and is considering becoming a firefighter.

 Mathew has lots of tips to share that he hopes will help both current and future freshmen. His advice is, “You can’t move on if you keep holding on to the past.” In addition to sharing words of wisdom, he is excited to go to the gym and practice making goals. There are a plethora of things that Mathew likes – for example, his favorite holidays are two of the most famous: Thanksgiving and Christmas. He is excited about the homecoming dance and all other school events. 

Hopefully, Mathew’s journey can help others feel happy and inspire them to have the best year yet.
