Vlad Lutterman is in his sophomore year, and he’s already accomplished a lot; he’s an avid swimmer, and he has dreams of writing movie scripts. He’s ready for the big world, but before he becomes famous, we have to meet him.
An interesting fact about him is that snails are his favorite animal, and pink is his favorite color. His favorite candy is Buckeyes, and he likes sunsets. But really, he’s got way more to him! He’s an excellent swimmer, often filling up his time. “I swim a lot,” he says, “I won sectionals this year.” His dreams, however, steer him onto the beaten path; he would like to write a movie or screenplay. His reason behind this is that “I like movies and want to make one,” he says. I asked him if he had any other plans, and he said he may be going to college, but nothing is set in stone.
I asked him if he had any fears, and he said, “I’m not really afraid of anything.” To follow up, he has some advice for the freshman, “Actually, do your work, please,” he said. A solid word of advice there from Vlad.
He’d like to take a moment and thank some teachers, including Mr. Waters, Mr. Ward, and Mr. Morris. His favorite school memory was a field trip to a radio station. While he’s looking forward to his future, he’s taking steps to get ready. Whatever ends up happening, we’re glad we got to meet Vlad before he was famous! Good luck, Vlad!
