At Sunset Hill Farm, Varsity Boys’ Cross Country dominated on Saturday, Aug. 23. Junior Ryan Nix led his team to a first-place finish at the Larry James Invitational and the only home meet for the team, finishing with a time of 16:11.13. Junior Spencer Martin, fresh off of shin splints over the summer, took 7th with a time of 16:48.38. Finishing 10th with a time of 17:01.50 was senior Will Roberson. Nick Jakel ran a time of 17:09.46 to finish 14th, followed closely by CHS’s final scorer was Will Morgan, running a 17:21.06 for 15th place.
