The Chesterton Trojans Girls’ Bowling Team had a striking 2025–26 season and finished in 3rd place at the IHSB State Finals, solidifying their place among Indiana’s top programs.
The Lady Trojans’ postseason run began with a second-place finish at Sectionals, advancing the team to Regional competition and continuing a season defined by consistency and depth. The Trojans carried that momentum into the semi-state competition in Fort Wayne, where they placed third to qualify for state.
Individually, junior Asia McClelland rolled her way to success. After tying for first at Sectionals and advancing through Regionals, she placed second at Semi-State, earning her individual berth at State. Senior Hailey Hostetter also enjoyed some frame-by-frame dominance in her postseason performances, including a top-eight regional singles finish.
Spare no doubt, at the state finals, the Trojans relied on a balanced, experienced lineup featuring seniors Ava Chiesi, Ava Buenaventura, Paige Engels, Hailey Hostetter, and Lilyanne Ward, along with McClelland and freshman Elise Engels. The combination of veteran leadership and emerging talent propelled Chesterton to its third-place state finish, demonstrating pure pin power.
The podium result reflects a season built on resilience, steady improvement, and strong team chemistry. From sectional success to a top-three state finish, the Lady Trojans demonstrated depth across the lineup and the ability to perform under pressure when it mattered most. These ladies are rolling deep and lane l legends!
