The Chesterton European Market has just opened for the 2026 season! Come to celebrate the 23rd year. The European Market is a tradition that Chesterton citizens look forward to every year. It goes from May through October, from 8:00 am-2:00 pm. The market is located on Broadway and Third Street, right next to Thomas Centennial Park. 

Of course, there are multiple vendors, each with a unique item you can purchase. Many of the vendors are from local businesses, so this is a great chance to support your community. From food to drinks, to art, and clothes, you can find so many hidden gems!

It’s been four years total since Sylvester started going to the Chesterton European Market, ever since she was a freshman.

“There’s a lot of diverse vendors, and you can find anything from produce to clothes to even meat, and just random shrink-its.”

“Typically, I usually go three or four times a year during the summer. It’s a great place to hang out with friends or family, and also helps you connect with others too.”
